Shooting Sports Programs

Rifle Program
  • Includes instructors, firearms, safety equipment, & ammunition
  • Session Length: 3 hours
  • Range Fee: $ 65
  • Per Person Fee: $10
  • Available at: Camp Roosevelt
Shotgun Program
  • Includes instructors, firearms, safety equipment, & ammunition
  • Session Length: approximately 3 hours
  • Range Fee: $ 65Per Person Fee: $15 –25 shots per person
  • Additional Ammunition: $10 – per 25 shots
  • Available at: Camp Roosevelt
Archery Program
  • Includes instructors, firearms, safety equipment, & arrows
  • Session Length: 3 hours
  • Range Fee: $ 65
  • Per Person Fee: $3
  • Available at: Camp Roosevelt, Pine Hill Scout Reservation, and Pine Tree Education & Environmental Center
BB Program
  • Includes instructors, firearms, safety equipment, & ammunition
  • Session Length: 3 hours
  • Range Fee: $ 65
  • Per Person Fee: $ 0.50
  • Available at: Camp Roosevelt, Pine Hill Scout Reservation, and Pine Tree Education & Environmental Center

Reserving the Range

Is your units looking to participate in a shooting sports program? Please complete the application below and submit to one of the Garden State Council Scout Resource Centers. Please note that completing the application does not guarantee availability of the range.

Have your own equipment & instructors?

Units who are able to provide their own currently certified instructors and safe firearms may use the ranges and must follow all BSA rules & regulations regarding range operation. The unit is still responsible for the range fee, however the per person fees will be waived. A copy of the instructors' certification cards must be submitted with the application. Prior approval by the Garden State Council Shooting Sports Committee is required, and should not be assumed.
