Cub FUN Day Registration Now Open

Registration for the ever-popular Cub FUN Day is now open!  Log on to the calendar for Saturday, October 20, 2018 and register.  This is a fantastic opportunity to bring a non-scout friend to see join in the FUN and see what Cub Scouting is all about!  We have doubled the amount of BB and Archery slots this year so more Cubs can experience the thrill of target shooting.  There will be other activities on Cub Field and new this year, Scout Troops will be demonstrating several different types of Scoutcraft, such as Model Campsite, Cooking, Pioneering, etc.  Don't miss this great opportunity t


Anthony Galasso Earns Doctorate in Commissioner Science

Anthony Galasso, of Old Colony District has completed the requirements for his Doctorate in Commissioner Science and will be honored at the Council Volunteer Recognition Dinner on April 30th.. The Council will also recognize the Silver Beaver Recipients for this year:

Scoutmaster & Asst Scoutmaster Leader Specific course

This course is open to all Scouters in the Council.

Scoutmaster & Assistant Scoutmaster Leader Specific is for Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters and other Scout leaders who wish to learn about conducting the Boy Scout program and Troop administration.

ITOLS self assessment and in-person testing overview Saturday May 16th, 2015

Boy Scouts of America has recognized that a small but significant number of adults, for whom Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (ITOLS) is required; may already possess, have taught, and can demonstrate those skills.  Councils have therefore been asked to to provide a "self assessment and testing"process; which will substitute for the need to take the ITOLS weekend course.
