Many times, the Garden State Council Camps are used as a 'base-camp' for activities that occur off property. Following are some examples of area attractions that your unit may be interested in*:

@ Roosevelt Scout Reservation (Camps Diller, Grice, & Roosevelt)

• Cowtown Rodeo
• Jersey Shore Points

@ Pine Hill Scout Reservation

• Historic Philadephia Tours (The High Speed Line into Philadelphia is only a few minutes drive from camp)

@ Pine Tree Education & Environmental Center

• Wharton State Forest. Many units will arrnage Hike/Bike/Canoe treks through the forest. Canoes & Bikes are available for rent by the Garden State Council.

The Garden State Council offers a variety of equipment to units. Equipment available includes boats, bikes, GPS units, and more. Rental forms can be found on the Camping Forms page (available by CLICKING HERE).
